ADR tips of the month

The “ADR Tip of the Month” is an educational tool on adverse drug reaction (ADR) topics that is sent to Canadian Paediatric Surveillance Program participants monthly. These tips enable the Program to share timely information regarding specific ADRs encountered in paediatric patients, advise participants of recent medication alerts by Health Canada, as well as encourage reporting of all ADRs. The tips often include advice on how to recognize and manage such events to improve outcomes for children and youth.

Health Canada may use this format to complement the ADR study by providing relevant, timely drug information.
